Let's dive deeper to redefine adventure. Getting adventurous is all about feeling kicked, energetic, active, happy, and different. Now think, is there any way to feel the same in the surrounding you are living right now? Let's discover such ideas!
Take 'Be a Child' Challenge
The highest hills, deadly falls, etc are not possible to visit any day, anytime. So should one wait for holidays or until it’s possible for happiness? No. Having adventure doesn’t mean you need to go tracking mountains or visit the deadliest destination of this world.
Adventure is possible at every 'that' place where you have ever laughed or smiled even once. It can be found with any simple, crazy, fun activity like in:
- Turning the cooler on when it is cold
- Going near that and screeching your name
- Tingling to your brother or sister when there are many people around
- Changing the channel when someone’s favorite show is airing on TV
- Applying dark lipstick at home without any occasion
- Playing peek-a-boo to make one surprisingly shocked, and so on.
Sounds weird? Being weird is better than being dull. Dullness makes one numb over time, which ultimately leads to hollowness and depression. So it’s better to rope in some naughtiness. Do not make it a habit. The idea is not to irritate, bully, or tease people around you. The idea is to think free like a kid and spread some smiles around.
There are so many such crazy things that we can’t even number them all. We just need to get active a bit. We just need to start finding happiness in small efforts, instead of spending too much money to grab it.
Let’s redefine adventure and bring it into practice! Let’s learn to find adventure in our daily activities, instead of searching it out in valleys or mountains!

Go Offbeat to Pamper Your Heart and Taste Buds
Many of us try hard to be disciplined. For a change, dare to break some rules to pamper your heart. If your craving roars high to eat something, curb it by eating instead of stopping yourself. Such as:
- Buy ice cream for yourself; it doesn't matter it is winter.
- Don't hesitate from taking the second piece of sweet, it doesn't matter you are sitting in someone's home as a guest.
- Feeling of eating that fried food? Do it, forget your diet plan for one day.
- Want to eat one of your favorite dishes but thinking of waiting till morning because who eats at 1AM, at midnight? Don't stop yourself and do what your tastebuds suggest.
The idea is to eat something you wish you regardless of your place, status, people around, time, diet plans, or any other condition or situation.
Forget Yourself and Face You Fears
People percept that the biggest possible phobias or fears of the life that one can think of are:
- To jump from the height
- To reach the bottom of the sea-water
- To take a snake in hand
- To experience the darkness of midnight in a graveyard
- To taste the fear of closing yourself in a room, coffin, or chains
Do you know there are many more out-of-the-box ideas to give yourself a kick? Such as:
- To go to the office on a cycle instead of a car or bike
- To take a weird selfie and posting on the social platform
- To visit an old classmate on whom you had a crush once
- To take upstairs instead of the lift for reaching to the eighth floor.
- To wear a certain color that you never before such as neo, pale white, lemon, or red
- To dance when you don't know a single step
- To play any childish game with grown ones such as hide and seek
- To participate in a social campaign in which you have to take a broom and clean the street
- To sing your favorite song when you have no idea of what is the meaning of music notes and scales.
- To try a new dish that you never tasted before
The above ideas might seem silly at an initial point but when you go to do it, your perception gets changed. Don't believe it? Try yourself to experience fun.
So where does that freedom go? Does anyone stop us? No. It is our own mind that makes us contracted to a circumference of how the world will take it and how will people react to it. Unless and until you are not interfering or creating troubles in others' lives, no one can interfere in yours too. So be a human and be a social person but don't let the world come into your free space. Don't allow anyone to stop you from loving yourself and pampering your heart.
