Traditions during Daily Activities
- Wake up for Vrishabha Sankranti rituals early in the morning before the sun rises
- Sleep on the floor at nighttime.
Sankraman Snaan: Pious Bath
- Take a pious or sanctified bath in the holy river. Hindu pilgrimages are found very crowded this day as people visit them for Sankraman Snaan (Snan means bath).
- The devotees take the bathing dip in holy rivers specifically for washing their sins in order to get salvation.
