  • Wake up for Vrishabha Sankranti rituals early in the morning before the sun rises
  • Sleep on the floor at nighttime.

Sankraman Snaan: Pious Bath

  • Take a pious or sanctified bath in the holy river. Hindu pilgrimages are found very crowded this day as people visit them for Sankraman Snaan (Snan means bath).
  • The devotees take the bathing dip in holy rivers specifically for washing their sins in order to get salvation.
